our
mission
the heart of Purra
Before Purra was ever an idea, there was just the two of us. Caitlin and Tae have been best friends for over a decade, the kind of friendship that feels more like sisters. We can be fully honest with each other, we balance each other out, and we genuinely love what we get to build together. That same realness is what we want you to feel the moment you walk in. No competition, no pretending, no act. Just two friends who want you to leave feeling beautiful and cared for.
Our Team
Caitlin travis, bsn rn
Caitlin is the founder and lead nurse injector at Purra, which she opened in 2023 at just 23 years old. Her path started in emergency medicine, working in a Level 1 trauma center, where she learned to stay calm, precise, and adaptable under pressure, qualities she brings to every treatment today.
Since opening Purra, she's completed extensive advanced training, including cadaver-based anatomy labs and courses in dermal fillers and neuromodulators, and became a Certified Acne Specialist through Face Reality, a part of her practice she's especially passionate about after struggling with acne herself for years. She's currently in graduate school working toward her Nurse Practitioner license.
More than anything, Caitlin wants Purra to feel different from the typical med spa: honest, welcoming, and free of pressure or pretension. Her goal is always natural, subtle results that leave you looking like the most refreshed version of yourself.

purra’s story.
Purra was founded by Caitlin Travis, BSN, RN, whose journey into aesthetics started in emergency and critical care medicine. Those years in high-pressure environments shaped the way she practices today: with precision, attention to detail, and a genuine focus on the person in front of her.
Caitlin opened Purra in 2023, when she was just 23, and built it around a simple idea. A med spa didn't have to feel intimidating, bougie, or out of reach. So much of the industry felt focused on changing people or selling them a certain look or lifestyle. She wanted the opposite: a space rooted in honesty, education, and natural results, where anyone could feel comfortable, cared for, and never pressured.
She's pursued extensive training along the way, including with AmSpa and a comprehensive injection cadaver course, and became a Certified Acne Specialist, bringing real skincare depth to a practice that goes well beyond injectables. She stays committed to ongoing education, including her current path toward becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Caitlin's approach is guided by her faith and her belief that beauty should enhance, not alter, what already makes you, you. She sees injectables and skincare as a way to help people feel more confident and refreshed while still looking completely like themselves.
Whether you're brand new to all of this or just looking for a provider who values natural, honest, personalized care, you're always welcome at Purra. Come see the difference for yourself.
