Caitlin travis, bsn rn
Founder
Caitlin is the founder and lead nurse injector at Purra MedSpa. She began her aesthetic practice in 2022 and launched Purra in spring 2023. Since then, she has completed extensive training—including cadaver-based anatomy labs and advanced courses in dermal fillers and neuromodulators—ensuring safe, precise, and natural-looking results. With a background in Emergency Medicine, Caitlin brings broad clinical expertise and calm, adaptable problem-solving—qualities that have earned her a reputation as a true “jack-of-all-trades.” She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree and working toward her Nurse Practitioner license.
Dr. William carter
Dr. William A. Carter received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1976. He completed a family practice residency at Lancaster General Hospital in 1979. Since that time, he has been involved with several private practices as well as academic institutions in Lancaster, Dauphin and York Counties. Beginning in 1999, he developed a strong interest in outpatient aesthetics treatments as a means to improve people’s self-esteem. Throughout that time, he has had extensive training in the field of outpatient aesthetics and has been awarded certifications in laser treatments, all types of injectables, and many other skin-effecting energy modalities.

With years of experience in high-pressure environments, Caitlin developed an exceptional level of precision, attention to detail, and patient-centered care. Her background has shaped her dedication to safety, education, and achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient she treats. Working with medical director, Dr. Garrett Cuppels, she was able to move forward with opening Purra.
Driven by a passion for aesthetics, Caitlin pursued extensive education in medical aesthetics, completing multiple advanced trainings, including with AmSpa and a comprehensive injection cadaver course. She remains committed to ongoing education, ensuring she stays up-to-date with the latest injection techniques and industry advancements. Her approach is rooted in both science and artistry, carefully refining her skills to provide subtle, natural enhancements that honor each patient’s unique beauty.
